Inspired by 600–2,000-year-old ancient rock carvings from various sites in America, particularly Newspaper Rock, Utah (thus the name Paper Trail).

Deer, horses, buffalo and foxes are all cut from a rock texture, giving each animal a unique pelt colouring and an earthy quality that connects modern printing to the earliest human marks.
